Where Do I Go for More Information?

In addition to the information available on HSAexam.org, the Maryland State Department of Education has a number of publications that answer common HSA-related questions. You can find these publications listed below. If you do not find an answer to your question, call 1-877-HSA-EXAM. Leave a message and someone will return your call within 24 hours.

Can I Have a Hard Copy of Certain Documents?

Of course you can! The list below has several useful HSA documents for parents, teachers, and students.

Helpful Documents and Publications

Currently all students who began 9th grade in or after 2005 are required to pass the High School Assessments in order to graduate, including students in special education, English language learners (ELLs), and students with 504 plans. The Maryland State Board of Education is considering delaying the HSA graduation requirement only for special education, ELL, and 504 students; however, a final decision has not been made.
