About: Overview: What do the HSAs look like?

The HSAs are given in four subjects: biology, government, algebra/data analysis, and English. Each exam covers material from specific topic areas (see below) within the course curriculum.

The exams contain multiple-choice questions. The following chart shows the amount of time scheduled for each exam.

The exams are administered a number of times during the year, with make-up opportunities for students who did not take or pass the tests. A schedule of HSA testing dates is available here.

 

Test Support
